WORDS FROM THE PLAYWRIGHT

after seeing the 2018 Invited Dress Rehearsal:

"Dear Judy & Austin:
What a gloriously wonderful time I had today. It was a joy to see the work of you both…together again.

As i told you, Judy, I was so moved five minutes into your performance i began crying to once again encounter Peggy. Though somewhat familiar with the script, I was frequently surprised by what came next because I was  SO CAUGHT UP in each moment.

Austin... how I would have loved to congratulate you on your (once again) superb work… but in all truth neither of us was needed. Judy was fantastic…just as you said she would be.
Peggy appeared, she fascinated us, she moved us, she held us thru every twist and turn of the marvelous roller-coaster ride of the play.

Thank you both. It was a great gift to me…"
